Gadget Tidy
My project is a modern styled gadget ?dy. It holds items that range
from books all the way down to speakers, it holds a PS3 or XBOX
console and a drawer that holds the accessories and any other parts
that the client may want to store for safe keeping. I was inspired to
make this product due to the Bauhaus art era, and portrayed this in
my project through the modernis?c curves and boxy structure. On
the top of the product is an acrylic layer that is suspended higher
than the actual wood, this creates a more modern look and creates
a more aesthe?cally pleasing product.
The materials I used during this product are Plywood, Acrylic and
Aluminium. All of these materials create the best possible look to
this kind of product; plus the polyurethane varnish as a finish,
creates a very aOrac?ve design and final product. It took me around
four weeks to create this product to achieve the best possible
result.
