Bunk Bed Storage
My problem was centered around the fact that I had no area to
store my headphones, water boAle, books etc. on my bed. I was
unable to get a normal bedside table because my bed is a bunk bed.
So I decided to produce a unit that could hold all the items I take to
bed as well as provide other features, such as a small book shelf
The long wooden part slots under the maAress, and then was cut
and given a nice edge using the router table. The actual shelf and
acrylic were designed on 2D design, and the wooden shelf was cut
on the router whilst the acrylic was cut on the laser cuAer. The
metal strip at the back to provide safety was cut, and then heated
using a blowtorch. It was then bent to the desired shape and
aAached onto the unit.
Overall I like the product, I think it looks very nice and is also very
useful and funcHonal!
