Mul1func1onal Table

My design took approximately 3 weeks to make. I used a number of

different techniques to achieve the curved shape of my design. As

pictured above, I made a wooden mould which I wrapped 3 pieces

of wood around. I then put it in a bag press and leI to set. Once this

had been done, I leI it to set for longer, as pictured on the right.

This was done twice.

I then made metal poles to act as supports. I then fiKed a piece of

acrylic which joins the two separate pieces of wood. My computer

sits on top of the see-‐through plas1c. I chose the see-‐through acrylic

because it fiKed in with the look of my product. It is simple but fits

its purpose very well.
