Beats Headphone Stand
This Beats Headphone Stand I designed is both func=onal and
aesthe=cally pleasing in its simplicity. I chose this brand because of
its name and popularity, and with the guidance of my teachers and
advice from my friends, I managed to create what I think is a fairly
decent product. Other than holding a pair of headphones, it also has
a protruding stand where you can put a phone, as well as a blue-­‐
tooth speaker embedded in the headphone stand, giving the user a
large range of uses the buyer can use it for.
This product was made from a mixture of high density foam, acrylic,
and aluminum using the various equipment in the DT workshop,
including the centre lathe as well as the CNC router. The use of CAD
and CNC meant that I could create a high quality product because of
the fine detail our machines are capable of making, and I think that
all in all, this is a good piece of work.
