Educa2onal Recycling Bin
Recycling is a wonderful idea that is designed to save the
environment, lower costs, and reduce waste. However not everyone
recycle, even though they have the opportunity to do so. Therefore
my solu2on to this problem was to create a product aimed at
children in the educa2onal sector, that educated them about how
to recycle, so they would grow up with sustainability in mind. My
project consists of three compartments, one for wood, one for
plas2cs, and one for metals. These compartments make it easy to
separate each individual material, and makes the process fun and
educa2onal at the same 2me.
Through A2 Design and Technology I have learnt many useful
processes and techniques, and learnt about the wide range of
design func2ons and aIributes that make up a successful product.
