4 May 2020 ABINGDON PREP NEWS Welcome children of Key Workers For the children of key workers, Abingdon Prep is a very different place from normal term time but with the help of staff and our gap students and coaches they had a very enjoyable Easter holiday and first half of term. Many thanks to everyone for helping out. ‘Maths hands’ helping with subtractions Keeping fit with exercise classes, calming yoga and learning new skills Packing to set sail on a journey around the world Our gap students have been helping to provide online activities for the boys, from recording videos of sports activities to reading stories for Pre-Prep. Online Activities Virtual music lessons Throughout the period of remote learning, music is alive and well at Abingdon Prep with lessons from our Visiting Music Teachers continuing as normal, albeit via Zoom. All the boys in school are part of a whole school Google Classroom for music. In this classroom they can take part in many different activities. One thing they can do is upload videos of themselves playing their instruments for the rest of the school to see. This takes courage, and we are proud that our pupils are taking this opportunity to share their musical talents with the school community. See the video .
