Year 8 pupils enjoyed a fantastic day at Lord's Cricket Ground, the Home of Cricket, where they experienced an inspiring mix of history and practical coaching. The visit began with a guided tour of the iconic ground, providing a unique insight into the rich history and traditions of the game. The pupils gained exclusive access to some of Lord's most famous areas, including the world-renowned Media Centre and the fascinating MCC Museum. This was followed by an exciting coaching session at the Indoor Cricket Centre, where MCC coaches delivered an engaging session designed to develop their cricket skills in a fun and supportive environment. A real highlight of the day came when pupils were lucky enough to see the England and South Africa women's teams training on the Nursery Ground.
