The heatwave was on the way, but that didn’t stop the Pre-Prep children from enjoying a funfilled Sports Day on the games field. Events included running, throwing, jumping, mini-hurdles and the exciting obstacle race. The children gave their all while cheering on their classmates, boosted by the Year 8 helpers and the many supporters who came to watch. The event was rounded off with refreshing ice lollies, plenty of smiles and a well-deserved rest after their exertions. Each child brought their favourite teddy from home and helped to plan and prepare the entire picnic. We made filled baguettes, baked delicious cupcakes, decorated party bags and designed our own party hats, before rounding off the afternoon with karaoke, dancing and lots of laughter.
