Professor Frank Close will reveal his
discoveries about the atomic scientist,
Bruno Pontecorvo, who disappeared
from Britain just as his son Gil was
about to start his second year at
Abingdon. A book signing will follow
the lecture. Admission free.

take on a team of recent leavers. War

1950s/60s OA Reunion
7.00 pm - The Grand, Brighton
Chris Ford (1965) is organising the
next 1950s / 60s reunion to be
held at The Grand, Brighton. Online
booking is now open for the drinks
reception followed by dinner priced
at £60 per person. The dress code
for the evening will be smart casual.
There will be a chance to tour
Brighton’s Royal Pavilion as a group
on the Friday afternoon at 3.30 pm. A
one-hour guided tour will cost £13.10
per person and will be payable on the
day, but please register your interest
by 1 February 2015.
