FROM THE HEAD
It is always a very happy moment for me when I first turn
the pages of the new edition of the
Griffen
. I hope that all
of us associated with the OA Club feel a sense of pride
and belonging as we read the latest news of the activities
of the Club.
There are many opportunities for you to meet up with
fellow OAs, as well as with your former teachers, at social
gatherings and also to come back to School to help us
mark historical occasions, attend lectures and special
events, participate in sports fixtures, and advise boys
on university and career preparation. You are part of a
thriving alumni association, which plays an increasingly
important role in the life of Abingdon School.
I hope that Abingdon School remains a relevant and
valued part of your life and will do so for many years to
come. The
Griffen
, along with other communications from
the OA Club, is one small way in which we try to stay in
touch with you.
Thank you to the OA Committee and staff who make the
OA Club such a vibrant and successful organisation. I
hope that you enjoy reading this edition and I very much
