18 A community united: Giving Day 2025 Our third Giving Day proved to be a powerful testament to the strength and generosity of the Abingdon community. Over 36 hours between the 5 and 6 of November, our community rose to the occasion, raising £85,000 for the Abingdon Foundation. With nearly 300 donations streaming in from current and former parents, OAs, staff, and friends, the energy was palpable. This collective effort highlights not just a milestone in our fundraising, but a shared commitment to the future of our pupils and the sustained excellence of the school. The impact of this kindness cannot be overstated. These funds are more than just a number; they represent expanded opportunities, enhanced facilities and the vital support that allows pupils to thrive.
