An extensive range of workshops and assemblies have been delivered in secondary and primary schools across Oxfordshire, including ‘Learning to Cope’, ‘Communicating Consent’, ‘Supporting Your Peers’ and ‘When Banter Stops Being Funny’. Natalie also delivers a Preparing For Puberty programme for several primary school pupils in years 5-6, as part of Relationships, Sex and Health education. ver the past seven years Abingdon School in Partnership has gone from strength to strength working with primary and secondary schools in the area. Building on these relationships, school leaders from Abingdon School, John Mason, Fitzharrys, Radley College, Larkmead and St Helen & St Katharine worked together to form the OX14 Learning Partnership. This is a formal, mutually beneficial and impactful partnership for the young people, staff and parents of our local area. The agreed priorities for the OX14 Learning Partnership are: ur whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing in partnerships aims to upskill staff and parents/carers in supporting the evolving needs of children and young people. We have delivered a series of parent webinars with guest speakers on a range of subjects including ‘Managing Big Emotions’, ‘Digital Health & Wellbeing’, ‘Supporting Our LGBTQ+ Children & Young People’ and ‘Talking To Your Teen About Drugs & Substances’ Staff are offered training in Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid and we have trained 61 external staff so far. Specialist CPD courses have also been delivered on Staff Wellbeing and various safeguarding topics.
