www.abingdon.org.uk 21 Abingdon News When the committee met for our first meeting in September, over Zoom, we reflected on how we can continue to support the social and networking events for parents throughout the school during this strange time. Our normal, full to bursting, list of dances/ events/ quizzes and much more are paused and the fundraising that goes with it. We realised that face to face events will not be happening for many months and that ClassList would be key in developing social networks. Please do use ClassList to connect to other parents in your class/ year/ house. If you are not a member please email [email protected] However! It is incredibly heartening to see events being organised, even though not face to face. The Lower School held a Question of Sport quiz on Zoom, which had a fantastic turn out. We are also very much looking forward to our next meeting where we will consider projects suggested by teachers in the school, that will enhance the boys educational experience. So what does ASPA do? Our objectives are: Connecting parents, supporting school life Welcome to all the new parents to the school, we so hope your sons have settled in and have found their feet, and welcome to ASPA the Abingdon School Parents’ Association, of which you are all automatically a member. A big HELLO to all existing parents, we hope you and your boys are enjoying their journey through the school.
