The atmosphere was tense at the Emirates Stadium in London today as 14 companies, each representing a major region across the UK, competed in the National Final of the Young Enterprise Company of the Year competition 2016. Wabi-Sabi were the representatives for the South Central region and put in a fantastic performance across the board, impressing the judging panel with their engaging trade stand interviews, vibrant and well-polished presentation and professionally written company report. Such was the impression they made that they were selected as one of the top 5 companies to re-present at the evening ceremony to a whole host of dignitaries from the business world, including Steph McGovern, the host of BBC Breakfast News, who had interviewed the team earlier in the day live on TV and who enjoyed some of the boys' cooking from their trendy teenage cookbook 'Hungry All The Time'. A top 5 placing nationally is an outstanding achievement for the boys of Wabi-Sabi, to round off an impressive year for the most successful YE company in Abingdon's history.
