Out and About
Abingdon’s CCF came an excellent
5th in the final of the Annual Air
Squadron Competition.
For a week of the Christmas holidays lower sixth formers from Abingdon and St
Helen’s visited the Lycée Jean XXIII in Metz. We hope this inaugural visit is the
beginning of a long partnership between the three schools. The visitors were
warmly welcomed by their host families and by the school.
Over half term the Economics and Business
Studies trip to Frankfurt undertook a myriad
of activities including a presentation from
A group of lower school boys took
advantage of the Activities Weekend
to visit the Ashmolean Museum in
Oxford to look at the Greek and
Roman artefacts.
Fifth year sailors braved
the cold in Plymouth
preparing for their
Day Skipper Yachting
qualification.
