Last term opened with the return of
the First Orchestra and Big Band from
their triumphant tour to the United
States and closed with the 1st VIII
winning the prestigious Princess
Elizabeth Cup at Henley Royal
Regatta. Now comes news of the
School’s top results from last term’s
A level and GCSE examinations, all
of which leaves Abingdon pupils on
top of the world – like the boys above
who climbed a 3,723m peak in the
Aladaglar Mountains in Turkey over
the summer holiday.
