Loserville – Tickets on sale! Excitement is building for this year’s joint senior musical with St Helen’s. LOSERVILLE , the bold and brilliant rock musical comes to the Amey Theatre for three nights from 6-8 February. Created by James Bourne of the band Busted and Elliot Davis, it is a colourful and catchy ride through the life of the underdog. The cast was very lucky to have a masterclass with actor Aaron Sidwell, who played lead character Michael Dork in the original production. Aaron gave our actors some amazing insight into his time in the show, and led them in a singing and acting masterclass that was exciting and inspirational. Tickets: £12, book online at abingdon.org.uk/future_events Lord of the Flies Our middle school boys have been hard at work this term, creating a highly stylised production of Lord of the Flies.The two performances were sold out and the audience was hugely appreciative of this ambitious production. Harry the Piano entertains Young pianists from Abingdon and St Helen’s explored improvisation in a fascinating workshop with the virtuoso pianist and internationally acclaimed musician Harry the Piano. Harry went on to entertain a large audience in the Amey Theatre in the evening. 13
