There were eight heats on several different track layouts, followed by semi-finals and the grand final. Well done to Ollie in Year 5 for being the runner-up and to Harry in Year 6, who went home with the much coveted winner’s trophy. The JPA Quiznight in late January was held in aid of our school charity for 2018, Springfield School in Witney. This year, the quiz alternated with horse races which added to the fun. As ever, quizmaster Rob Shaw compiled a wonderful cornucopia of questions ranging from parliamentary constituencies to naming the three teams which have never been demoted from the top football league or championship. A team of Y3 parents called ‘Just ask Siri’ won by just one point from the Staff team who came second - again!
