12 January 2019 Abingdon Prep Pre-Prep Pre-Prep performed A King is Born, a traditional nativity play with a modern twist, for parents and friends to enjoy. The event began with the sheep, cockerels and donkeys from Reception processing into the darkened room with sparkling lanterns, smiling brightly as they climbed onto the stage to take their places. We were transported back in time as the young family enjoying their bedtime story were taken on a journey to Bethlehem via their ipad! Supported by two smart podcasters, the story of the new king’s birth unfolded as the characters we know took their positions in the stable. The Pre-Prep Nativity - A King is Born November December Pre-Prep Workshare Pre-Prep was a hive of activity as children shared their latest work with their parents. Some very proud boys demonstrated their progress and even offered delicious home baked cookies.
