Although he was apprehensive, he returned buzzing from the excitement of an office environment and a field trip. Work experience taught him so much from being courageous, to resilience, to increased confidence to improved life and people skills. I am so pleased Abingdon School prioritises this programme. Parent of 5th Year Pupil 2017–2019 61 work placements and 45 OA hosts Career Guidance Programme Since 2017 our dedicated career guidance programme has grown. Our community of OAs, parents and friends have volunteered over 1,000 hours through insight talks, interview preparation, advice and expert knowledge. We are grateful to everyone for supporting Abingdon pupils in this way.
