On the weekend of 13-14 October 2018 a team of 12 represented the OA Club at the Arrow Trophy, an annual sailing regatta held on the Isle of Wight. The team fought hard all weekend, enduring some very strong weather and competition, and also had the chance to enjoy a dinner and prize-giving ceremony in the Cowes Events Centre on the Saturday night. The team raced against 27 boats from other schools’ old pupils’ associations and, after winning all three of the races on the Saturday by some margin, held onto the top of the tree to eventually finish second overall, adding the School name to yet another trophy at the event. Well done to all – hopefully the team will be able to regain the title of Arrow Trophy champion next year.
