On Tuesday 21 March, our squash team hosted Radley for the keenest fixture on our calendar. The team consisted of Nikhil Vyas, Will Pearson, Will Taylor, Ed Pettitt, Ben Goriely-McDonald and Max Mortimer. Max played very well in the subs match but lost out 1-3. Ben and Ed then opened our account with impressive 3-0 wins. Will Taylor, promoted to 3 for his excellent performances, took on a much older boy; in his finest performance so far, he took the match the full distance, and was very unlucky to lose 2-3. Will Pearson then stepped in, and despite a foot injury played some superb and courageous squash to win a tough match 3-2. Nikhil then won another crushing victory at number 1 to give us a convincing 4-1 win overall. This perfectly capped the squash team's most successful year ever.
Half colours are awarded to Nikhil Vyas and Will Pearson for the standard of play they have reached and the contribution they have made to Abingdon squash.
