Abingdon Squash team opened their season on Saturday 30 September, hosting RGS High Wycombe, a very strong squash school. Our team consisted of Nikhil Vyas, Will Pearson, Will Taylor, Ben Goriely-McDonald and Ed Pettitt. Ed played at 5 and tried to struggle on with a damaged right hand, but had to concede in the end. The others all then put on an outstanding display, and no-one dropped a game; the 4-1 victory was very impressive indeed, and bodes well for our season, especially with our first match in the Nationals coming up.
