Our courses are open to everyone on a first-come-first-served basis, so we advise that you book early to avoid disappointment. All courses are run by qualified, experienced and DBS checked coaches and staff.<\/p>\n

Welcoming boys and girls aged 5 to 15 years.<\/p>\n

Our junior sessions are group based activities, designed to give an introduction into the world of climbing. Whilst focusing on enjoyment, your instructor will teach climbing techniques and basic safety skills required to progress in this sport. We run both beginners\u2019 and improvers\u2019 sessions designed to target those new to the sport, or those wanting to brush up on their technique.<\/p>\n

Join us for our popular Strength and Conditioning Rugby Camp, crafted to nurture young talents, aiding them in refining their existing rugby skills while imparting injury prevention techniques for a safe and enjoyable rugby journey. This camp is comprehensive, covering fundamental aspects such as passing, catching, and kicking, as well as advanced gameplay strategies encompassing attack, defense, breakdowns, and evasion, all while ensuring a vibrant atmosphere of enjoyment.<\/p>\n

The primary goal of this rugby camp is to instill in participants a drive for continuous self-improvement, both on and off the field. Through fostering teamwork, effective communication, leadership and resilience, the camp aspires to inspire young players to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives.<\/p>\n

Sheldon Graddon, originally from South Africa, oversees the high-performance rugby camps held at Abingdon School and Tilsley Park. Sheldon began his rugby journey at King Edward VII, one of the top 10 rugby schools in South Africa, and continued playing during his university years. In his twenties, Sheldon relocated to Oxford, where he now represents Oxford Harlequins 1st XV and 2nd XV. Additionally, he serves as the head of rugby and leads the rugby academy at Brockhurst and Marlston School in Newbury.<\/p>\n

Participants should bring their own packed lunch each day, along with weather-appropriate clothing. This includes indoor trainers and outdoor boots.<\/p>\n
