Over the first few days of the Easter break, the DofE Silver Sailors completed their qualifying expedition in and around the Solent. A challenging route was completed with the students sailing from Gosport to Poole followed by a complete circumnavigation of the Isle of Wight. Lots of yachting skills were developed along the way including close quarter boat control, pilotage, man over board drills and passage planning.
