The second years travelled to Bath today to visit the Roman remains of Aquae Sulis. There they found out more about the bath complex that they have been studying and the lives of the Romans who used it. They had a go at translating the Latin on the tombstones, saw the curse tablets that had been thrown in to the sacred spring, and learned about Roman building techniques.
