Last Saturday the Rugby Club played Eton College in a block fixture. Our U14 and Seniors were away with our U15s and U16s facing Eton at home.

Our U14s had a mixed day with tough matches at U14 C & D XV level against one of the strongest boys' schools in the country. Our B XV just got pipped at the post whilst our A XV won away in fantastic style adapting to the conditions well throughout the match.

Our U15s played at Cox's Field with our C XV putting up a good show again against a strong side. The B XV lost a very tight match much like the U14 B XV. Our U15 A lost but played very well considering the changes that had to be made during the match.

Our U16s played on the main school site playing well in a close fought match. The B and A XVs won superb matches playing very well against good sides. A top effort from our Colts sides.

The Seniors played away. Our 4th and 3rd XV boys put in sterling performances but lost out to an over powering Eton come final whistle. Our 2nd XV just lost in a cracking contest. And the 1st XV scored in the final play to draw the match improving every minute of the game.

This all bodes well for this weekend where the club take on Radley College. 1st XV kick off away at 1430.
