H. G. Louth was killed at the Battle of Festubert on 9th May 1915, at the age of 25. He joined up shortly after the outbreak of the war as a Private in the 4th Seaforth Highlanders, and proceeded to France in the following November. He was present at the Battle of Neuve Chapelle in March 1915. Boarder in the School House from 1905 and subsequently employed as an Engineer with the G.W.R
