The last Primarily Science Club of the term was awaited eagerly by the 28 primary school pupils from five local schools – finally the chance to make magnetic slime! The Science Ambassadors running the club have been practising and perfecting the technique under the expert guidance of Mrs Coates our Chemistry technician. The children attending this club have been asking every week when the slime recipe would be ready and were very excited that this was the activity for the final session of the term. However, the Science Ambassadors are always eager to make sure the children learn some science as well as having fun, so there was a mini-lecture on magnetism before the slime making commenced. The Science Ambassadors have done a magnificent job planning and running this club and hope to carry on next term. Anyone interested in joining the team should contact the ASP Co-ordinator, Jeremy Thomas.
