Year 5 was excited to begin their lesson with the addition of 40 cakes as their drawing theme.
Working on developing 3D cylinder shapes, altering their viewpoints and exploring colour in the style of Wayne Thiebaud the boys threw themselves in to the task of sketching, observing from first-hand and blending tones in chalk pastels to achieve soft, but bold shapes.
By far the best part of the lesson was sampling the cakes made by Sherrey at the end!
