This is a polite reminder regarding the on-line e-safety evening for parents on Thursday 12th February. A<\/span> link to the Zoom meeting will be shared nearer the time.<\/span><\/p>\n

The purpose of the evening is to raise awareness of e-safety issues and how we can promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for pupils at Abingdon Prep.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Message from Rachel Pairman<\/b><\/p>\n

After half term, we will be keeping the gate opposite the school closed in the mornings during drop-off. We have been monitoring the use of the field drop-off (initially used during Covid and retained) and it is not being used. We will continue to monitor the parking on the school site and, should this become congested, review using the field drop-off again. Keeping the gate closed in the mornings will also help to enhance our overall security. A member of staff will continue to meet the pupils whose bus drops them at the pavilion carpark and escort them across the field, over the bridge and into school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parents of Year 8<\/span><\/p>\n

Ahead of the HPV vaccinations which take place on Wednesday 11th Feb, I will be speaking to the Year 8 children on the day before, to answer any questions about the vaccination and give them an idea on how the morning will run. I would be grateful if you could share the information sheet which was attached to the consent form, link <\/span>here<\/span><\/a>, with your child so they have some understanding before we meet.<\/span><\/p>\n
