Last week, a group of enthusiastic and talented Abingdon School students visited us to lead a lively session with Year 4 pupils, introducing them to a range of traditional French playground games.<\/p>\n
After some fun icebreakers to get everyone warmed up, the pupils threw themselves into playing\u00a0canard, canard, oie<\/em>\u00a0(duck, duck, goose),\u00a0un-deux-trois-soleil<\/em>\u00a0(the French equivalent of granny\u2019s footsteps), and\u00a0l\u2019\u00e9pervier<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 a fast-paced, tactical game of tag that quickly became a firm favourite.<\/p>\n It was wonderful to see the Sixth Form students sharing their passion for French language and culture so confidently and joyfully with our children.
