On Monday we reviewed the Moon\u2019s eight phases and discussed how a model \/ diagram will look different depending on which side you place the Sun. Each group was then equipped with eight Oreo cookies, pieces of card for labels and a picture of the Sun and Earth. They were tasked with recreating the phases of the Moon from memory (with absolutely no prompts) using just the equipment in front of them. 5K created brilliantly thoughtful and accurate models and really impressed with their superb collaborative learning.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
