The pupils heard about the sheep and goats in the lambing pen, seeing several lambs and kids that were only a few days old. Pebble the sheep gave birth shortly before we arrived and we got to see her baby attempting to stand for the first time. We also hand fed a number of animals as we walked around the farm, enjoyed the forest walkway, stroked the rabbits and held chicks &#8211; some of which mischievously jumped out of their baskets and onto the children&#8217;s shoulders!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reception were very excited to visit Adam Henson&#8217;s Cotswold Farm Park on Monday.
