We spotted animals beginning with every letter of the alphabet, enjoyed train rides, munched on picnics, met park keepers and rounded the day off with a delicious ice cream. We particularly enjoyed seeing the young rhinos charging in for their lunch and we were fascinated to learn about animal adaptations &#8211; such as the penguins blushing beaks (to help them stay cool) and the meerkat&#8217;s built-in sunglasses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>5 July 2023 To round off our &#8216;Down in the Jungle&#8217;
