In the semi-final matches, the U13s fought hard to win their regional heat, qualifying for the IAPs National Finals, held on 20 November at Culford School and in which they came 3rd in the Group stage, going into the Plate competition in which they were victorious, placing them 9th in the country. The U11s came 2nd in their regional qualifier which saw them compete at the IAPs National Finals on 27 November. Our squad did brilliantly, not losing a game in the Group Phase and qualifying them for 2nd place in their group. In the Quarter Final, they lost 0-1 against their rivals but this still placed them within the top 8 IAPS schools in the country.<\/p>\n<p>We are so proud of all our teams &#8211; well done!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>30 November 2022 There has been huge success for Abingdon Prep School in the IAPS football tournament.
