Abingdon Prep Year 7 and 8 students put their filmmaking skills to the test with a One Day Film School workshop. Pupils learned the basics – film history, flight choreography, learning to use an iPad like a pro and screenwriting, before working in teams to create a short 2 minute film. Their final task was to introduce their film, give it a poster tagline and then wait to hear which team had won the Best Picture Oscar. Worthy winners were \u2018Rescue of the Rich\u2019 whose engaging, entertaining story and technical excellence particularly impressed the judges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
