On Wednesday, our Year 7 boys took part in a Victorian Waxwork Museum. Each pupil was given a famous Victorian character and then tasked with writing a speech to persuade the curators that they should be allowed to stay in the museum and not be melted down into a pool of wax.<\/p>\n
The boys researched their character, produced a poster and learned their speech off by heart. Then, once the museum was open, each waxwork came to life when their buzzer was pressed and recited their speech.<\/p>\n
There were superb speeches, wonderful costumes and props as well as a fountain of knowledge. Well done, Year 7 – you really did bring English (and History) to life!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
