For some of the boys here, this was their first performance at Abingdon Prep, and they rose to the occasion fantastically. It was a fun and festive event, with some great performances from our Years 3 and 4 choir, the Junior Choir, and some wonderful solos, as well as an array of festive readings. The audience deserves their own round of applause for joining in so well with the congregational carols. We even had a performance conducted by one of our pupils\u2014a budding choral director in the making!<\/p>\n<p>This event marked the beginning of the Christmas season; the hall was dressed so beautifully with our Christmas tree, and there were lots of Christmas decorations that the children themselves had made in the CDT department. The sense of awe and wonder that was created by our live performances and our boys&#8217; singing so well cannot be understated, and it was a very special event for all involved.
