The older boys have been studying Antony Gormley\u2019s Field in CDT. Just as he produced a field of 3D terracotta figures, the Prep School boys have adapted the idea into a design project of their own \u2018Field of Chairs’. Boys produced a design in card to represent themselves, with a ‘guess who is who’ game incorporated. We learnt a great deal about each other, some sharing hidden hobbies as well as obvious sporting interests. Boys also produced a prototype of a wooden chair of their dreams. From recliners to deck chairs, there were a variety of designer chairs on display.<\/p>\n

Year 7 boys have also been making wooden poster hangers which can be attached to any picture. The hand made silhouettes were very effective as a starter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
