Ever wondered how to survive if the world was suddenly\u00a0hit\u00a0by<\/span> an asteroid? Well that is just what our Year 5 and 6 Brain STEMs are doing\u00a0in their Other Half club<\/span>. We started today by investigating which material would be best to build our houses out of to protect them from acid rain. We tested granite, sandstone, limestone, slate, zinc and copper with hydrochloric acid to see whether it gives a reaction and found that slate is our material of choice due to its low level of reactivity.
