Over half term they were given the option to complete a piece of&nbsp;work based on either the Battle of Hastings or a Motte and Bailey Castle. Leo designed a step by step build of a castle by learning how to use his father&#39;s architectural software.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the fantastic piece of work, the Headmaster said, &#8220;We had some amazing designs&nbsp;using a variety of materials including paper mache and even cake but&nbsp;Leo&#39;s castle really stood out&nbsp;and was something we had not come across before.&nbsp;He is an architect in the making!&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>14 March 2018 As part of the Year 7 history curriculum, the boys have been studying the Norman Conquest.
