They participated in a hands on workshop in which they explored different historical artifacts and tried to uncover their uses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They found out&nbsp;about the early train makers and were very keen to&nbsp;discover more about George Stephenson&nbsp;and his famous&nbsp;Rocket. The boys were very lucky to be shown around the train engine room by a volunteer, and were able to visit carriages used by royalty.&nbsp;&#8203;The boys deserve praise for the way they conducted themselves and their enthusiasm was superb!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>28 March 2018 Year 1 enjoyed a busy and exciting day visiting the STEAM Museum in Swindon.
