The Year 4s travelled to Chandlings for their first pairs cricket match of the season. Captained by William, the As lost the toss and Chandlings elected to bat. Although showing promise, our bowling was a little inconsistent with a few too many wide ball extras delivered. The pick of the bowlers were William, Freddie, Zach, Ollie and Charlie.<\/p>\n

Yumi, behind the wickets, also showed potential and kept the byes to a minimum. Chandlings finished their innings on 265. APS's first three pairs gave the team a sound platform to win the game but the team lost momentum with a number of wickets falling towards the end of the game. APS finished on 235. Losing by 30 runs.<\/p>\n

The Bs also lost narrowly by just 8 runs!
