2018 has been an excellent year for\u00a0Patience Kakitie,\u00a0our Karate\u00a0Sensei, at Abingdon Prep.<\/p>\n
Patience is part of the Veras Academy Oxford which began the year by ranking number 1 over two consecutive days of the English Karate Federation National Championships 2018. Most recently, they ranked number 2 at October\u2019s Coupe De Kayl Championships, in Luxembourg, beaten only by the National team.<\/p>\n
Patience Kakitie\u00a0will also be travelling to represent England in Shanghai in December.<\/p>\n
Patience said, \u201cI consider coaching, competing and inspiring my students, to be a privilege. I do it because I believe that England and Team GB\u2019s future champions are amongst them. Particularly as Karate makes its debut as an Olympic sport in Tokyo 2020.\u2019<\/p>\n
2019 also looks very busy and we wish Patience the best of luck for Shanghai and next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
