Luckily the weather didn&#39;t dampen our spirits as the adults became the audience for the story in a real stable, with very authentic costumes and, of course, live animals.<\/p>\n<p>What a wonderful tale told by a host of animals, with the boys dressed as shepherds, wise men and angels, offering gifts and beautiful, angelic dances. Mary and Joseph took a real donkey on a journey to the chilly stable where Jesus soon joined them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Of course the best thing of all was a visit to Father Christmas in his sleigh with promises of being very, very good being exchanged for wishes and requests for dinosaurs and Star Wars Lego.<\/p>\n<p>We then made our way into Santa&#39;s workshop, manned by helpful elves who allowed us to choose from an array of amazing gifts! There were opportunities for Christmas crafts, a visit to pets corner, time with an assortment of animals, a huge Adventure playground and an exciting picnic.
