Year 5 showcased their performing talents with a concert full of drama sketches, instrumental and vocal soloists and the whole year singing together. This was an informal event with parents and friends seated around tables eating supper.<\/p>\n
The concert began with a series of dramatic scenes acting out historical events in The Bourbons and other Crackers<\/em> by Sue Gordon. This was highly entertaining and had the audience in fits of laughter. We then heard a variety of soloists, who performed to a very high standard with pieces ranging from a Bach Minuet to Thunderstruck<\/em>.
