Among our visitors at school today were Julius Caesar, a highwayman, a Samurai warrior, Elizabeth I and Napoleon Bonaparte himself. This literary celebration was rounded off with a visit from the popular children&rsquo;s author Annabel Claridge. She inspired the boys in Years 5 and 6 with a talk about creative writing and her famous &ldquo;Bo books&rdquo;, featuring a pet poodle who travels back in time to befriend some of history&rsquo;s most famous people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>3 March 2016 This year&rsquo;s World Book Day took the theme of characters from History and leading us &ldquo;around the world&rdquo;
