So far they have learnt about Captain James Cook&#39;s three voyages, and have thought very carefully about what an explorer may need to take with them to survive. Some of the boys thought a fishing rod would be a good idea, and others thought a teddy bear would be useful!&nbsp;The&nbsp;boys made their own galleons in the playground and acted out some of the battles that Captain Cook may have had.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4 May 2016 Year One has been learning about some of the great explorers in history.
