Following a very successful maths lesson where Reception were taught weighing skills by Year 4J, the boys were promised a smoothie tasting session. Reception were keen not to disappoint their friends in Year 4 and set about chopping fruit, combining ingredients and whizzing it all together. They learnt how to use knives safely and how to use a blender. There were three smoothies for the Y4 judges to sample and vote into two categories: tastiest smoothie; most appealing smoothie. Combinations of lime, mango and pineapple won the tasty category, whilst the most appetising was a strawberry, pear, kiwi and pineapple delight. Delicious!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
